The rocky horror picture show
Ash somehow cajole James Nesbitt, Dave Grohl and (next victim!) Chris Martin into appearing in their homemade "crazy teen slasher" short
Ash's workaholic tendencies show no sign of abating with the band starring in their own horror short.
Talking this week, Tim Wheeler revealed that they're trying to bully Coldplay's Chris Martin into joining the celebrity cast.
"We've had Dave Grohl, Jimmy Nesbitt and Moby so far," he says, "so why stop at Chris? He's not getting out of it. We've been doing DVDs on all our singles last year. You know, sort of little documentary films, so we decided to do something different. And now we're just making this crazy teen slasher. It's quite funny."
Meanwhile, Wheeler was on hand at the London Forum last week to witness Coldplay's cover of 'Shining Light'. Declaring it to be "one of the best songs I know", Chris Martin went on to dedicate 'Warning Sign' to "anybody in Ash and anybody who likes Ash." That wasn't the night's only surprise, with Coldplay also performing an abridged version of Westlife's 'Flying Without Wings'.
