The Murder Capital cancel upcoming US and Canada tour
The Dublin-formed band have cancelled their North American shows "due to unforeseen financial challenges and the ongoing travel uncertainties"
The Murder Capital have announced the cancellation of their upcoming US and Canada tour, which was set to take place in September and October.
A total of 14 shows would have taken the post-punk group across North America to Los Angeles, Denver, Washington (DC), and Toronto, among other cities.
The Dublin-formed band took to X to share the news with fans:

"This is a bitter pill to swallow. We hope you know how much we wanted to be out there playing these shows for ye all," read their statement.
"Thank you to all our fans that bought tickets, we appreciate your support and we can't wait to come back as soon as the time is right. Sending you all love in these strange times," they concluded.
In May the group had to cancel two German shows in Berlin and Cologne over their plans to display the Palestinian flag on stage.
The Murder Capital have confirmed that all of their European summer shows are still on, including a gig in Dublin's Iveagh Gardens on July 19. After their Irish show, the band will move on to Italy, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK and Spain.
Tickets for their Dublin show are available here.
