The Melvins strike again!
After their sweatastic performance at the Village, Dublin in Septmeber, seminal rock band The Melvins are returning to Ireland.
Noted for their influence on metal genres as far reaching as grunge and doom, the band are playing a pitstop tour of Europe which includes The Roisin Dubh, Galway (May 3) and the Temple Bar Music Centre, Dublin (5).
Joining them will be long-time cohorts Big Business and Pornmusic.
Your homework for the gig includes their latest album (A) Senile Animal and 93's Houdini album, which features a certain Mr Cobain producing and playing guitar on a couple of tracks.
