The Magic Numbers announce Irish return
They'll be taking their as-yet-untitled new album out on the road this autumn...
After various solo exploits, The Magic Numbers are back together and paying acoustic visits to the Pepper Canister Church, Dublin (September 21); Dolan’s, Limerick (22); Roisin Dubh, Galway (23); Spirit Store, Dundalk (24) and Empire Music Hall, Belfast (25).
Along with old favourites like ‘Forever Lost’, ‘Love Me Like You’, ‘Love’s A Game’ and ‘I See You, You See Me’, they’ll be previewing an as-yet-untitled album that won’t be with us until the start of 2014.
“We’ve always thought that you should approach every new release as if it’s the first thing you’ve ever done,” reflects Romeo Stodart. “It’s an intense period for us, making a record – we tend to shut ourselves off from the world. I’m really excited about the new album; it’s some of the best songs I’ve written so I’m anxious for people to hear it, especially for those who may have never had the chance to see us live before.”
