The Jimmy Cake and Max Tundra to throw Christmas bash

To get us all warmed up for Christmas, The Jimmy Cake are teaming up with the extraordinary Max Tundra for a gig in Whelan's on December 23.

Both acts are a sight to behold - whether it's nine musicians banging out the Cake's unique wall of sound, or Max Tundra with mic in his hand singing along to an electronic remix of the latest pop tune - this is one party that is not to be missed.

The Jimmy Cake's new (mini) album, Superlady, is out now on Pilatus.
