The Greatest Showman gets the greatest score in Irish Charts
While others continue to mourn Dolores O'Riordan through 'Dreams'
The Greatest Showman is doing as well on the charts as it is the box office, quietly becoming one of the past year’s greatest film successes. It seems that everybody is partial to the feel-good soundtrack this week (and last week). Perhaps the reason for that is to balance the sadness evoked by Cranberries album ‘Dreams- The Collection’, which sits at No. 3 nearly three weeks after Dolores’ death.
Ed Sheeran rarely puts a foot wrong with the Irish, coming in at No. 2 this week. Those listeners may think that the more albums they buy the more likely he is to play Croke Park after his Phoenix Park dates in May! Picture This and The Academic remain firm on their home charts. Dua Lipa is a new entry this week.
