The Great Ceili Corr

As revealed last month by Hot Press, Andrea Corr has landed a starring role in a new musical comedy, The Great Ceili War.
"Andrea will play Anne, a folk violinist who's confronted by her past when she comes face-to-face with the father who abandoned her family when she was a child," says an industry insider.
Hamburger Hill man John Irvine is producing the $6 million film which begins principle photography this month in the North and then moves to the Isle of Man.
Germany's Studio Hamburg World Wide Pictures have also confirmed the involvement of Colm Meaney, Patrick Bergin and the Oscar-winning Jim Broadbent.
