The iconic band will play Spirit Store, Dundalk , Dolan’s Warehouse, Limerick, DeBarras, Clonakilty, and Cleeres, Kilkenny.

It will include dates in Dundalk’s Spirit Store on February 4, Limerick’s Dolan’s Warehouse on February 8, Clonakilty’s DeBarras on February 9, and Kilkenny’s Cleeres on Februay 11.
This Frames tour has been organised by the venues and band as part of wider ongoing conversation about the real hurdles these venues face to keep delivering quality shows.
Glen Hansard shared: “These are the rooms... where we learn to tell stories and learn the magic of the intimate spaces. Only from there can we take it to a bigger stage with any confidence.”
Commenting on the initiative, Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan said: “I understand the vital role that grassroots venues play in Ireland’s cultural, creative and music ecosystem. In recognition of their importance, I launched the Grassroots Music Venue Support Scheme last year to help protect and sustain these venues.
“I am committed to supporting this important network and a second scheme is due to operate in 2026 which again will be open to independent venues nationwide to support their vital cultural activity.”
Through the tour, organisers also to help build momentum around practical solutions, including a cultural status protection for our established grassroots venues, a levy on large-scale and stadium tickets to support grassroots venues, VAT abolition and a business rates reform.
The Frames are also set to be part of the line-up for Hot Press’ "History In The Making: The Concert" at 3Arena, with names such as Van Morrison, Dermot Kennedy, Noel Hogan and Mike Hogan of The Cranberries, The Boomtown Rats, Damien Dempsey, Irish Women in Harmony and many more.
