A live recording by The Fireside Sessions has just been released to raise funds for an extremely good cause.

Available from cdbaby.com and on iTunes to download, 'Le Grá do Chiara' is recorded tribute to Ciara O'Connor who died suddenly in 2006, aged 15, of a cardiac arrest. The CD cover and inlay features a series of drawings/paintings by Ciara. It is a collaboration by fourteen of Cork's finest musicians, who gave their free time for this worthwhile cause.

All proceeds will go directly to CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), in the hope of raising over €20,000 in the coming weeks.

An official CD launch and gig will be held on December 4 at Mr. Bradleys in Cork to mark the event.
