Third Bar's 'The Fight Is Not Over' EP will donate proceeds to feminist queer arts space in Belfast
Featuring four of Northern Ireland’s talented acts: Sister Ghost, Strange New Places, Gender Chores and Problem Patterns.
Northern Irish artist development company Third Bar are releasing their powerful 'The Fight Is Not Over' EP on July 9 to raise funds for The 343 - an artist-focused, feminist-led queer arts space in east Belfast.
The company's origins date back to 2010, when Davy Matchett and Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody decided to team up to mentor campaigns by NI acts.
Over the last ten years, the duo have masterminded and managed talent including Desert Hearts, Wonder Villains, A Plastic Rose, Robyn G Shiels and others.
On July 9, Third Bar's 12-inch EP ‘The Fight Is Not Over’ will feature four of the north’s finest, tenacious acts: Sister Ghost, Strange New Places, Gender Chores and Problem Patterns.
The four groups have joined forces for a life affirming live record, spurred on by the spirit of protest.
‘Fake Friends Run This Country’ by Sister Ghost, ‘Mr Gumble’ by Strange New Places, ‘Territory’ by Gender Chores and Problem Patterns' ‘Sell By Date’ constitute the overall tracklist.
The stunningly colourful vinyl features an impressive cover, illustrated by the skilled Jacky Sheridan.
Buy the vinyl here and from your local record emporium from July 9.
The EP drops on all digital platforms on the same date, prepare to be streaming the impactful work of Northern Irish powerhouse Third Bar.
