Oasis tease major announcement

Oasis have set a date and time for a big announcement: Monday, September 14 at 4 p.m. The message, widely speculated to be the teaser for a 2027 tour, was displayed by a drone light show in their hometown Manchester.

The Britpop band split up in 2009, but announced they were reforming in 2024. Their reunion tour, Oasis Live '25, included two sold-out performances at Croke Park. With a total of 160,000 attendees, the events resulted in a significant boost to Dublin's economy.

Conflicts between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher led to their 2009 breakup. The brothers separately continued with successful solo projects. Liam and the rest of the band continued under the name Beady Eye, while Noel formed Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

After their Oasis Live '25 reunion tour, the band announced they would not tour in 2026, but left 2027 open. A documentary film about the tour titled Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger is out in theatres today.

Oasis were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
