The Commitments comes to the stage for the first time
Roddy Doyle's acclaimed work hits the West End.
A quarter of a century after releasing the best-selling novel, Roddy Doyle has adapted The Commitments for the stage.
Previously, the literary work had of course been transformed into a cult 1991 film starring the likes of Glen Hansard, Colm Meaney and Maria Doyle Kennedy.
The theatrical production is directed by Olivier Award winner Jamie Lloyd and opens on London's West End this autumn.
