The Bones of Cork announced for hometown Spiegeltent
Trombone group The Bones of Cork will play the Spiegeltent as part of the Cork’s Midsummer Festival
Trombone group the Bones of Cork are getting down and jazzy in the Spiegeltent in Cork on July 2. The group which consists of five jazz trombonists and a rhythm section have gone on to great things after heir formation for the closing ceremony of Cork 2005 European Capital of Culture. Since that gig the group have gone on to perform at high profile events in the city such as the Cork Jazz and The Lord Mayors Gala Charity Concert.
The group say a major influenced for them is legendary Cork born trombone player, Bobby Lamb and this is reflected in their catalogue of standards and new originals.
