The Blizzards gear up for second album campaign
With The Blizzards' second album less than a month away, the Mullingar band are gearing up for a new assault on the charts and live venues across the country.
Speaking to hotpress.com, singer Niall Breslin said he was well up for the album and tour – in fact, he's hoppin'. "We're really excited about the tour, and especially the dates after the album comes out. That's when our fans will really know the new songs.
Second album The Domino Effect sees the light of day on September 12.
"Tickets are flying out the door for the Academy gig, that's the big one. We're hoppin'. It's all go. There's a really cool video in the bag too, which we'll have details of in the next few days."
Online outpost http://www.myspace.com/theblizzards has gone into war mode, with updates twice a day.
'The Big One', at the Academy in Dublin, takes place on October 11. Tickets are onsale now, priced €23.
