The Black Keys confirm Tripod date
Following a scintillating performance at Oxegen's main stage last Friday afternoon, the Ohio electric-blues duo will be returning to these shores for a Dublin date on October 27.
The show will definitely be a must see if the Oxegen set is anything to go by. The band was on top form, easily the most raw and powerful rock act over the weekend - with everything turned up to eleven as can only be expected! The band blended plenty of the old with the new, balancing classic Black Keys tunes with numbers from their latest offering, 'Brothers' which debuted at No. 3 in the Billboard top 200 earlier this year. Of course this September show will be a slightly more up close and personal affair, and may include a higher proportion of the new material on display - definitely no bad thing in our opinion.
Tickets for The Black Keys headline show at Tripod go on sale this Friday at 9AM, priced at €21.50 including booking, available from www.ticketmaster.ie
