That's the girl...
Irish-American skate-punk next-big-thing-istas Good Charlotte rule the MTV-USA airwaves with their very own show, All Things Rock
If Mick McCarthy's looking to add a bit of youthful aggression to his squad, he might want to check out America's latest punk sensations, Good Charlotte.
Although brought up in Washington D.C., the band's identical twin frontmen, Benji and Joel Madden, both qualify for Ireland by dint of their Mum being from Limerick. Oh yeah, and having tricolors tattooed on their arms.
Having flogged 350,000 copies of their eponymous debut, the band have just completed the follow-up, The Young & The Hopeless, with Queens Of The Stone Age and Smashmouth man Eric Valentine producing.
Upping the ante further is the fact that Benji and Joel have their own MTV show, All Things Rock, which airs Stateside every weeknight at 11pm. This may have something to do with the video channel fast rotating Good Charlotte's new single, 'Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous'. The skate-punk A-List most definitely beckons!
