Temple Bar Music Centre gets a new booker
Former Whelan's and Isaac Butt man Dave Allen takes on the challenge
Former Whelan's and Isaac Butt man Dave Allen has been unveiled as the new General Manager & Booker at Dublin's Temple Bar Music Centre.
Talking to hotpress.com, Allen says: "We're not planning to close for any length of time but there will be some refurbishment and revamping of how things are done here. Venue-wise there's a lot more competition than there was a few years ago so we have to make sure we keep our eye on the ball. Andrew WK, Arab Strap and Fountains Of Wayne are all coming in soon so, artist wise, we're very strong."
