System of a Down Working on New Music
It's been a decade since the hard-rocking four-piece from California released their last album, but System of a Down fans might finally get some new music.
In an interview with Madcap Music Review (see below), bassist Shavo Odadjian confirmed that the band is working on their first new material since their 2005 studio album Hypnotize.
Odadjian said that the band has been writing new songs and in the recording studio, but there is no release date yet. In the meantime, you can catch System on the Wake Up the Souls tour, which will include their first time playing in Armenia, to commemorate the Armenian Genocide that occurred 100 years ago.
