Van Morrison announces five-night London residency
Van Morrsion is touring his album Somebody Tried To Sell Me a Bridge which released in January this year
Van Morrison has announced a five-show residency in London on September 23, 24, 27, 28 and 29, at the brand new British Airways ARC venue.
The Van Morrison gigs will be fully seated, and tickets go on sale at May 15 at 9am BST. This will be the first residency at the venue after it opens its doors on June 16.
“We are thrilled to welcome Van Morrison as the very first artist to have a residency at our brand-new venue,” said Lucy Noble, SVP UK venues AEG Presents.
"The shows are set to be incredible.”
His latest album, Somebody Tried To Sell Me A Bridge released on January 23 this year. The album features covers from B.B.King and Buddy Guy as the Northern-Irish musician marks a return to the blues.
Morrison is also due to appear at several European Festivals in 2026, including the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival.
Its another addition to what has been a busy year of live shows for Van. Thus far, he has played 17 shows including the History In The Making gig for Hot Press’s 50th anniversary in February.
