Super Furry Animals announce new Dublin show
The band will be joined by special guests Baxter Dury and Really Good Time
Super Furry Animals have announced a Dublin show August 30 at The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, as part of the Wider Than Pictures concert series.
Super Furry Animals, who released 9 albums between 1996 and 2009 to critical acclaim, are touring again in spring of 2026 after a hiatus of more than a decade, kicking off their tour with a sold-out May 6 show at the Dublin 3Olympia. The tour comes after the re-release of their 2005 album Love Kraft last October.
Super Furry Animals will be supported by Baxter Dury and Really Good Time. Dury has released 9 albums of his own, including his latest, Allbarone, produced by Paul Epworth. Really Good Time released their debut EP, Escape from the Mountain of Spit, in 2023, and have since supported bands like Franz Ferdinand, The Murder Capital, and The Scratch.
Other shows featured in the Wider Than Pictures series this summer include Amyl and the Sniffers, Mannequin Pussy, Spider, berlioz, and Mac DeMarco.
Tickets for the Super Furry Animals’ Dublin show start at €63.20 each, and go on sale January 30 at 10:00 a.m.
