The Strokes tease new album with new songs at Bernie Sanders rally
The band touts Sanders as the only "truly non-corporate" candidate, and the best hope to overthrow corporate power in America.
The Strokes played brand new songs at a Bernie Sanders rally on the eve of 10th February. The band's latest track, 'Bad Decisions', was played, and a video premiered for 'At The Door'.
And then, Julian Casablancas said "Album's coming out April 10th". Just like that. The album will possibly be called The New Abnormal, if the band's Twitter post is anything to go on. The Strokes also covered Talking Heads' 'Burning Down The House' and performed a few of their classics.
This is the second recent Sanders rally to feature notable artists in support of Sanders. Bon Iver played during a rally in Clive, Iowa, while Vampire Weekend performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
