Sting and The Wanted coming to Cork

Sting has confirmed a July 1 visit to Cork as part of this year’s Live At The Marquee extravaganza. Joining him for the Back To Bass tour will be a lean, mean five-piece band who’ll be helping the 61-year-old run through his greatest hits and a few newbies.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday January 31, price to be confirmed.

One suspects the age of the crowd will be slightly younger on June 16 when The Wanted descend on the Marquee, with tickets also available from Jan 31.

Ahead of that comes the March release of the chaps’ Third Strike album, which is trailed by hit single ‘I Found You’.
