PET LAMB: “Spent” (Blunt)

Finally, something far more bracing. As guitars start to get polite again, Pet Lamb’s second helping of a noisome fury is a welcome antidote to prissiness. Five tracks and what’s most heartening is that they don’t save the best for the first as “Spent” keeps punching its weight all the way through to the last track.
