Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival has announced their first round of ticketed shows.
They go on sale at 12 p.m. on May 30. The festival will take place in venues across Cork City from September 11 to September 14, with this year marking its tenth anniversary. Artists featured in the lineup include Villagers, Lisa Hannigan, Black Country New Road, Ben Howard and many more.
"This 10th edition of Sounds from a Safe Harbour feels especially meaningful,” said Festival Director Mary Hickson. “It's not only a celebration of the festival's evolution, but also a chance to deepen the relationships between artists and audiences that have been built over the years. SFSH has always been about collaboration and surprise, and this year, those principles are more alive than ever."
The festival will kick off with Remembering Talos, an opening night dedicated to the memory of Eoin French. A cherished artist and festival friend, French will be honored at the Cork Opera House with many of his collaborators. The festival will also feature special album launches from Junior Brother and Daithí, as well as collaborations between artists.
