Sophie Doyle Ryder announced for tonight's Hot Press Lockdown Sessions
Catch her live-streamed performance tonight on the Hot Press Instagram.
Following a stunning set from Laura Elizabeth Hughes on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions last night, we're keeping the Easter weekend celebrations going – with a performance from Dublin singer-songwriter Sophie Doyle Ryder, streaming live on the Hot Press Instagram at 7.30pm tonight, April 11.
The rapidly rising Malahide star has been writing songs since the age of 10 – drawing inspiration from the likes of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Tayla Parx and Playboi Carti. Now aged 17, she is building up a unique sound of her own, and taking a deeply personal approach to songwriting.
Following the success of her debut single, ‘MOOD’, in 2019, Sophie shared her highly anticipated follow-up single, 'ENOUGH' earlier this year. The empowering anthem was selected as our Hot Press Track Of The Day – and signals a thrilling new direction in Sophie's sound.
Throughout the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions, our star-studded line-up will be taking over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streaming performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
We encourage everyone who enjoys Sophie's performance tonight to support her through this difficult time for musicians by buying her music.
Watch Sophie Doyle Ryder at 7.30pm tonight, April 11 – live from the Hot Press Instagram.
