Hi.Rise, The Things, La Rocca, Stars Of The City, Berkeley and Alphastates are among the first batch of acts to be confirmed for Hard Working Class Heroes, a multimedia affair that's taking place in Dublin's Project Arts Centre on August 3 and 4.

After the bands have done their best to tear the roof off the gaff, you'll have your senses assaulted by the Choice Cuts (Sunday) and Nylon (Monday) DJ posses and a motley assortment of visual artists.

With a spinoff CD, video and t-shirt planned, it's shaping up to be an event to remember.
