Snow Patrol announce Thomond Park gig for July 2024

Snow Patrol have announced their only Irish date in 2024 with a stadium show at Thomond Park, Limerick on Friday 12 July 2024.

Over a twenty-nine year career, the Scottish-Northern Irish band have carved out a unique place for themselves. They've racked up an impressive number of critical accolades, including 15 million global album sales, 1+ billion global track streams, 5 UK Platinum Albums, and Grammy, BRIT Award and Mercury Music Prize nominations.

They recently released a 20th anniversary reissue of their x6 platinum record Final Straw. In an interview with Hot Press, Gary Lightbody told Stuart Clark about how they went from humblest indie roots to becoming one of the biggest bands in the world, with anecdotes on Madonna, Pink, Bob Geldof, Glen Hansard and more. Special guests for the Limerick show will be hometown heroes Kingfishr, who have quickly established themselves as one of the hottest prospects in the Irish scene.

Emerging over the last year, the band’s atmospheric tone and knack for catchy melodies have resonated with a wide audiences both dosmetically and abroad. The trio recently announced a second date at Dublin's 3 Olmypia next March after selling out their first show in a matter of minutes.
