Snoop Dogg is coming to 3Arena with Versatile as support
For the first time in six years, Snoop Dogg is returning to Dublin!
Perhaps the most iconic rapper to emerge from the early '90s, Snoop Dogg – or maybe better known today as Martha Stewart's potluck partner – is making his return to Ireland with a show at Dublin's 3Arena on 9 April 2020.
Snoop Dogg last played in Ireland at the Academy back in 2014, but this time he's upgrading to 3Arena. The tour is in support of his latest album, I Wanna Thank Me, which was released on his own label, Doggystyle Records earlier this year.
After the popularity of gangster rap faded, Snoop Dogg proved he could do any genre from hip hop to reggae to gospel, which helped him maintain the limelight for numerous decades now.
Supporting Snoop Dogg on the tour will be local favourites (or least-favourites, depending on who you ask), Versatile. The Ringsend natives have already sold out their own headline gig at 3Arena next month.
"Swear boys, life is one big episode of South Park," wrote Versatile on Twitter this morning following the announcement that they, along with Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, D12, and Obie Trice would be supporting Snoop Dogg on the tour.
Tickets go on sale for Snoop Dogg's 3Arena gig on Monday, 7 October at 9AM on Ticketmaster.
