Simply Red - 'Farewell: The Final Tour' dates confirmed

Simply Red will play their final 'Farewell' shows this year after a quarter of a century of touring. Mick Hucknall then plans to pursue a solo career.

Of the tour, Mick says: “Welcome to the final year of twenty five mind blowing years. What an adventure it has been! We all hope to see you at a show some where soon."

The band's tour will take them to South America in April, then Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the UK and Ireland from September to December.

Tickets for the Dublin and Belfast shows will go on sale next Friday March 19 at 9am.
