Si Cranstoun gets Chris Evans nod
The son of Irish ska and soul hero Bill Cranstoun is in heavy rotation on BBC Radio 2.
A burgeoning success story we'll gladly claim for the Irish. Sussex born crooner Si Cranstoun, the son of Ireland's own Bill Cranstoun who was a huge figure on the ska and soul scene in the '60s, has finally found a mainstream audience after two decades as a busker. DJ Chris Evans has become a vocal fan, while his latest single 'Caught In The Moonlight' recently made the A playlist on BBC Radio 2.
Having signed to Warner last year, his new album Modern Life is out October 13.
