Shobsy announces Sexy Tadhg as special guest for November Academy show
The gig will take place on November 15.
Irish prince of pop Shobsy has announced special guest Sexy Tadhg for his headline show at Dublin’s Academy on Friday, November 15.
The announcement comes off the heels of his trip to Los Angeles, where the musician performed at MESEXPO and as a special guest for the International Music Industry Person of the Year awards.
Following his single 'Entertainment', which came out in July, Shobsy will release ‘Champagne’ on October 18.
I am THRILLED to announce @sexytadhg as opening act for Nov 15th. One of Irelands current best performers ⭐

After performing at Electric Picnic’s Fish Town this summer, Sexy Tadhg was recently announced as part of the line-up for IMRAM Irish-language literature festival, in an evening of live music and poetry titled Ceolta.
Shobsy has performed numerous sold out shows in various Irish venues over the past year, including at The Workman’s Club, The National Concert Hall and Whelan’s. In July, he was one of a handful of Irish acts (alongside Dermot Kennedy, Gavin James and more) invited to perform at a special Irish Music Industry showcase event hosted by the President of Ireland at the Áras an Uachtaráin.
Tickets for Shobsy’s November 15 gig at Dublin’s Academy, featuring special guest Sexy Tadhh, are available from €17.90 here.
