Shawn Smith lines up Whelan's date

Shawn Smith might not enjoy the same level of fame as Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or many of the other products of the Seattle scene, but he is often identified as one of the best musicians to emerge from the city; Greg Dulli describes him as "Seattle's best kept secret".
Now, the multi-instrumentalist and vocalist is headed for Irish shores, with a Whelan's date lined up for April 30. Tickets, priced at €18, are available now.
