Zach Bryan dominates the Irish charts following Phoenix Park gigs
The Oklahoma artist occupies the top two slots on both the Irish Albums and Singles Charts this week.
Zach Bryan has made a serious impression on the Irish charts this week – claiming the No.1 and No.2 spots on both the Irish Albums Chart and Irish Singles Chart, following the American singer-songwriter's three-night run at the Phoenix Park in Dublin last weekend.
His 2022 album American Heartbreak leads the way on the Albums Chart, rising from No.6 last week to No.1. It's followed by his self-titled 2023 album at No.2; and his latest studio album, 2024's The Great American Bar Scene, at No.7.
Over on the Singles Chart, he's at No.1 with 'Nine Ball' (up from No.9 last week); No.2 with 'Revival'; and No.4 with 'Oklahoma Smoke Show'.
The Grammy Award-winning artist made his Irish live debut just two years ago, with a show at The Helix in Dublin. During his latest trip, he visited The Celt pub on Talbot Street, and reportedly left a €6,000 tip for the bar staff.
"From the last time we were in Ireland, I have seen boys become husbands, husbands become fathers, gained band members, lost friends, stayed up all night and slept in," Zach wrote on social media this week. "We’ve crossed deserts, plains and places we prolly shouldn’t have been. There is love on random streets and there is a lot of hope still in the little things.
"Thank you so much to Ireland for taking my family and making it your own the last three nights. Thank you for your kindness, your grace and everything you are as a country. We’ll love you forever and we will always be back."
