Sean Kingston to make Irish debut
17-year-old Jamaican-American reggae sensation Sean Kingston has announced his first headlining Irish appearance.
The MOBO Award-winning artist will be in Dublin's Tripod on February 16.
Kingston attracted controversy earlier in the year when his his single 'Beautiful Girls' was pulled from the playlists of several Irish radio stations because of references to suicide in the lyrics.
The negative publicity doesn't seem to have affected him, however, with the song remaining in the Irish Top 30 for 15 weeks. His self-titled debut LP has also been a fixture of the album charts for 13 weeks.
Tickets for this all-ages show are priced €34.50/€39.50 and will be available from Ticketmaster, Road Records, City Discs, Sound Cellar and usual outlets from December 13.
