Irish folk rock trio Scullion are set to release a new single 'The House Came Down', whose proceeds will go to a charity supporting children affected by war, including those in Palestine.
The track features singer Natacha Atlas, an artist of Palestinian and Jewish heritage who is known for her distinctive blend of Western and Middle Eastern musical influences.
Written by Scullion member Sonny Condell, 'The House Came Down' was created in direct response to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
"The sight of a little girl in tears, her blood-soaked bandages, her broken limbs – the result of this cruel and meaningless conflict – cannot but stir gut feelings of disbelief and despair at the depravity of war," Condell explained.
“What can a song do? Maybe just to say her tears are not forgotten,” he added.

All funds raised from the song will go directly to WarChild, which works globally to protect, educate and uphold the rights of children living through conflict.
According to UNICEF, more than 50,000 children in the Gaza Strip have been killed or injured since October 2023.
Produced by John Reynolds at Big Tree Studio in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, the new track is part of Scullion’s long-standing commitment of using music as a means of social reflection and connection.
Scullion formed in the mid-1970s and is currently made up of Condell, Philip King and Robbie Overson.
