'Screaming Females' to storm the Grand Social this autumn
Sounding like a man's worst nightmare, the punk band will play the headline show in the wake of their latest studio album.
The New Jersey DIY-punk luminaries Screaming Females are more than a decade old and not slowing down.
Having announced their seventh studio album 'All At Once' early this year, the group will celebrate the release with their headline gig in the Grand Social this September on the 6th.
Screaming Females can claim something that few of their peers possess in a comparable capacity: experience. “When you’ve been a band for 12 or 13 years, the resources can dry up and you just go back to what feels comfortable,” explains Dougherty.
Their upcoming album 'All At Once' is evidence of this experience and growth, in both scrawl and scope. It's a refined body of work where less is more and just as in-your-face effective.
All At Once is a reminder there's a hopeful and joyful energy to underground music-making. Patience, perseverance, and long term dedication still work.
Tickets will retail for €15 via ticketmaster.ie this Friday (20th April) from 10am.
