RTE Concert Orchestra prepare for busy October...
Bringing the silver screen to life!
The RTE Concert Orchestra is set to continue its hugely popular film screening series throughout October, culminating in a very special Hallowe'en accompaniment of Alfred Hitchcock's classic Psycho.
Saturday October 6 sees the Orchestra take to the National Concert Hall, led by Karl Jenkins, usher in the Irish premiere of The Peacemakers; Jenkins' eagerly-awaited follow-up to last year's The Armed Man.
One of the UK’s most exciting tenors and one of Ireland’s most acclaimed sopranos join the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for A Song In My Heart, an operatic and Neopolitan gala on Thursday October 11, also at the NCH.
As the month draws to a close, the Orchestra gets especially cinematic, providing live accompaniment for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on Sunday October 28 at The O2 and what promises to be a spectacular and spooky screening of Psycho on Wednesday October 31 at the NCH.
Tickets for all of the above are now available from [link]www.nch.ie[/link] and on [link]ticketmaster.ie[/link]
