Rodrigo y Gabriela announce Irish theatre tour

Guitar impresarios Rodrigo y Gabriela have announced details of their upcoming national theatre tour.

The 21-date jaunt will see the Mexican duo performing shows all over the country throughout June, culminating in a seated headliner at the Ambassador.

As if that wasn’t enough to plump up the diary, they will also be gearing up for the European release of their Re Foc album in August and performing at this year’s Glastonbury festival. Phew!

Dates include: Cork Opera House (June 1), Pavillion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire (2), Town Hall Theatre, Galway (3), Bru Boru, Cashel (4), Belltable Arts Centre, Limerick (5), Arts Centre, Roscommon (6), An Grianain, Letterkenny (7), Hawkswell Theatre, Sligo (8), Arts Centre, Wexford (11), Ballytiobin New Hall, Callan (12), Garter Lane, Waterford (13), Art Centre, Mullingar (14), Siamse Tire, Tralee (15), Town Hall Theatre, Skibereen (16), Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda (19), Backstage Theatre, Longford (20), Playhouse Theatre, Derry (21), Arts Centre, Castlebar (24), Arts Centre, Newbridge (25), Ramor Theatre, Virginia (26), Glastonbury, UK (27) and Ambassador Theatre, Dublin (28).
