Riyadh Khalaf to co-host BBC Unexpected Fluids podcast
It sounds like it's going to get rather messy...
“Dating, terrible jobs, sex gone wrong…”
That’s the general gist of the new comedy podcasts that Irish vlogger and LGBTQ activist Riyadh Khalaf will have available for download on the BBC Radio 1 website from Monday February 5.
“Total dream come true!” enthuses the Bray man who made his BBC TV bow last year with the excellent Queer Nation series, and was a DJ in Dublin with Spin 1038. “Ali Fox and I are going to bring the good, bad and messy of sex in a comedy show that’ll probably get us in trouble. Get ready for Unexpected Fluids!”
Says Radio 1 head honcho Ben Cooper: “I grew up listening to Blue Jam and The Mary Whitehouse Experience on Radio 1 so it’s great to be able to give a new generation of young comedians an opportunity to make us laugh on a podcast from the BBC.”
