RIP John Du Cann

Hot Press is saddened to learn of the death of John Du Cann, the one-time leader of ‘70s prog merchants Atomic Rooster who’s died of a suspected heart-attack.

The English guitarist earned a place in Irish rock history by playing with Thin Lizzy on their 1974 German tour. He also collaborated with Francis Rossi and had a solo hit with ‘Don’t Be A Dummy’.
