The controversial singer walked away from a meeting in Paris yesterday with the Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron, declaring: "We're going to make a big announcement."
Rihanna had been surprisingly invited to meet with the new French president and his wife after she had recently taken to Twitter urging France to contribute to her education fund for developing countries.
Speaking to reporters outside the Elysee Palace immediately after her powwow with the French President and First Lady, Rihanna said: "I've just had the most incredible meeting with the president and the first lady. They were incredibly welcoming to us."
She didn't reveal if any commitment was made by the French President to contribute to the fund, only saying that she left the meeting feeling "inspired and impressed". She added that their chat "focused on the topic of education from a global aspect".
The international popstar was earlier this year named the 2017 Harvard University Humanitarian of the Year.
