Rich Hall for the Olympia
The US comedic curmudgeon is coming over next summer.
You'll most likely know him from his deadpan appearances on QI, where he lends a nice Southern US vibe to counter Stephen Fry's lovable Britishness, but Rich Hall is also a fine stand-up, who has appeared at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival more than a dozen times.
Hall has just announced his plans to bring his comedy to Irish shores next summer. He plays Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Thursday May 17. Also in attendance will be his redneck jailbird sidekick Otis Lee Crenshaw – Hall plays the role himself, which earned him the Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2000.
Tickets for the Olympia show go on sale this Friday November 18 at 9am. Tickets are priced from €25 including booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster outlets and at [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link].
