Rice and Hannigan to feature on soundrack
Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan have contributed songs for the soundtrack to a new Irish film
Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan contribute three new songs to the soundtrack of Goldfish Memory, the Liz Gill-directed Irish film co-starring Sean Campion, Flora Montgomery, Keith McErlean, Lisa Hearns and Jean Butler.
'Once I Loved You', 'Desafinado' and 'Waters Of March' were all originally penned by Antonio Carlos Jobim, the Brazilian composer best-known here for 'The Girl From Ipanema'.
Also weighing in with a song apiece are Richie Buckley, Sinéad Lohan, The Frames, Hi.Rise, The Walls, NPB, Nina Hynes, Messia J & The Expert, Super Delta Three, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Leila Pinheiro.
Billed as "a bright and breezy look at the dangers and delights of dating in contemporary Dublin", the 15 certificate film hits screens here on September 5 with the soundtrack preceding it on August 22.
