Female Hercules: “Record Player” (Blunt)

Female Hercules’ best selection of tunes to date sees them endorsing the libidinal, liberational rhythms of the MC5 and putting them to such good effect that ‘Record Player’ never comes across as derivative or extravagantly American. Ostensibly an ep as well, they really do kick out the jams as the title tune declares that the best place to be is inside you. How do you feel about that then?
