The excellent opening track on this Cornwall dance collective’s debut album puts the remainder of the record in harsh perspective.
The first song on this Cornwall dance collective’s debut album puts the remainder of the record in harsh perspective. The brilliance of this opening track (entitled ‘Blow Wind Blow’) is all the more remarkable when you consider that it contains input from Harry Collier, lead singer with execrable wimp-rock outfit Kubb. It commences with a heave of epic, cinematic electronics, before breaking down into a scuttling, bass-heavy dance track, with a stylish, almost James Bond quality. The remaining tracks employ similar sonic ingredients, but never to such devastating effect.
