Radiohead spin-off 'The Smile' introduce new songs on tour
English rock band The Smile play new music on their European tour.
A new band with familiar faces, The Smile is a project consisting of two Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood, Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner, and Nigel Godrich as their producer. They're currently on tour around Europe following their first album release in May titled A Light for Attracting Attention.
Despite the recentness of this release, the band has been producing and playing new music for fans at their shows. These cuts have been introduced as 'Bodies Laughing', 'Friend of a Friend', and 'Colours Fly'. Yorke has also confirmed that there are additional songs that are 'works in progress'.

The English rock band formed during COVID as a way for Yorke and Greenwood to continue to make music together. The name for their group, 'The Smile', comes from a Ted Hughes poem.

Their tour will continue through December of this year and The Smile will be in Italy for the rest of July.
