Push up Brahe
The Tycho Brahe treat us to a full frontal with the release their voluptuous double CD, Love Life
They stand to be corrected, but The Tycho Brahe make what they believe to be Irish music history on September 26 with the release of Love Life.
"As far as we know, it's the first double studio album by an Irish band ever," says singer Carol Keogh.
We've racked our brains and, apart from Rattle & Hum which was mostly a studio affair, can't think of anyone who's done it before either.
Hard-working types, they've also organised a lengthy tour which takes in Whelan's, Dublin (September 26); The King's, Waterford (October 25); DeBarra's, Clonakilty (November 13); The Lobby, Cork (14 TBC); Stables, Mullingar (15); Warwick, Galway (27); and Spirit Store, Dundalk (29).
The band will also be making four new songs available for download on their website, www.thetychobrahe.com, over the next four weeks.
