Pugwash at Whelan's this Thursday
Just a few days before the release of their much anticipated fifth studio album, Pugwash play Whelan's this Thursday, August 11.
In the three years since the last Pugwash album Eleven Modern Antiquities, frontman Thomas Walsh has received nominations for a ‘Meteor Award’, a ‘Choice Music Prize’ and an ‘Ivor Novello’ nomination for his collaboration with Neil Hannon on the Duckworth Lewis Method album.
After 10 years in the music industry, the band were discovered by the renowned AMA - Music Agency in 2010 and Thomas has just secured a worldwide publishing deal with SONY/ATV.
Their 5th studio album The Olympus Sound will be released in late August by EMI, the band's new home, in collaboration with the Dublin-based independent label 1969 Records.
