Primal Scream: We love Dublin and The Thrills!
Primal Scream are considering dates in Dublin and Belfast for their Greatest Hits tour in the New Year
Primal Scream have taken time out from collaborating with the delectable Kate Moss to put together a Greatest Hits tour in the New Year which they hope to bring to Ireland, hotpress.com can exclusively reveal.
"Its been a long time," Mani told us. "Is Dublin still the best city on the planet bar none? We're possibly coming over in the New Year at some point. Hopefully, we might get Dublin and Belfast into the tour."
Mani, whose mother hails from Co. Kildare, is a frequent visitor to Ireland and is delighted with the success of Irish acts this years. "I bumped into The Thrills in a few places," he remembers. "They really are lovely guys. I'm double happy for their success and its got you lot back on the map. You might get Dublin-chester kicking off over there man!"
Readers in the UK can see Primal Scream in Bobby Gillespie's hometown Glasgow on January 17, Mani's stomping ground Manchester on January 18, Birmingham on January 19, Southampton 21 and London's Hammersmith Apollo on January 23.
Dirty Hits is out now just in time for Primal Scream fans' Christmas stockings, with an all new biography by Kris Needs available at all good bookshops.
