Premiere: Reevah goes Shakespearean in 'Weight of the World' Video #BuyIrishMusic
Especially in these strange times, this tune is a reminder that we shouldn't have to bear 'The Weight of the World' alone.
Reevah dazzled Hot Press last year with her infectious, blues-infused track 'Older Now'. Today, the Derry native is back with a stunning video for her latest single 'Weight of the World'.
Heartfelt lyrics and cinematic imagery are Reevah's hallmark, but here she's taking them both to a whole new level. Cradling flowers and floating in water in a beautiful dress, she delivers her guitar-driven, indie pop opus a la Ophelia, Shakespeare's tragic heroine.
Watch the full video below, and purchase Reevah's EPs on her bandcamp.
